POSITION:  Adaptive Behavior Classroom

LOCATION: Pewitt High School or Elementary School

Position Summary:  Work with students who have disabilities and exhibit challenging behaviors, providing support and interventions to help them succeed in the educational setting.

Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Licenses/Other:

Appropriate State of Texas Teaching Certificate

Special Education Certification

Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of special education and core academic subjects

Ability to work with students 

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

WORKING CONDITIONS: Maintain emotional control under stress
